Kohli to play in BPL?
Indian Premier League (IPL) is the largest franchise cricket league in the world. Indian cricketers do not need to go outside to play. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) does not even allow players.
But recently, many cricketers, including Yuvraj Singh and Suresh Raina, have demanded that they be allowed to play in leagues outside the country. The BCCI has not yet approved the proposal though. However, if the approval comes, then Indian captain Virat Kohli can be seen in Cumilla Warriors!
No, not a dream. Nafisa Kamal, the owner of Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) team Cumilla Warriors, recently mentioned the possibility on a Facebook live. He said her team will be willing to bring in Kohli even if it was with a full team budget if necessary.
Regarding the IPL, Nafisa Kamal said, “The IPL is a popular event all over the world. Its model is also quite successful. They spend a lot of money behind cricketers. It would be great to have them in the team. That will be useful in our cricket. Because there is so much to learn from them. Indian cricketers are much more experienced in the T20 franchise.”
Who among the Indian cricketers will take the opportunity to join the team? In response to such a question, the chairman of Cumilla Warriors said, “I am joking with the cricketers of my team. If I have a chance, I will take Virat Kohli even with the budget of the entire team.”The beginning and the end of my full attention outside Bangladesh cricket is Virat Kohli. Not just as a cricketer; He is an ideal cricketer in all respects, including discipline.”
