Kohli’s tweet create speculations over Dhoni’s retirement
India’s World Cup-winning captain and present wicket-keeper batsman MS Dhoni is in the final phase of his International cricket career. There are many speculations going around his retirement.
There was an expectation that he would quit at the end of ICC Cricket World Cup 2019. But nothing happened like that. He made himself unavailable for the Caribbean tour and now he is been not selected for the home T20I series against South Africa.
All of a sudden there are rumors going around on the web that MS Dhoni is going to quit the International cricket and he has called for a press conference today at 7 PM. Still, there are no official confirmations on the news.
In the meantime, Indian skipper Virat Kohli’s recent tweet is said to be a reason for all the things going around Dhoni’s retirement today. Earlier today Virat Kohli posted a tweet remembering India’s chase against Australia in the ICC World T20 2016.
During that match, MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli had a match-winning partnership to make the chase a lot easier. In that tweet, Kohli quoted, “A game I can never forget. Special night. This man, made me run like in a fitness test @msdhoni.” This has raised some speculations over Dhoni’s retirement.
