Virat Kohli, captain of India national cricket team, has called on the countrymen to take necessary precautions to get rid of the global pandemic coronavirus.

More than 5,000 people have already died worldwide from being infected with COVID-19. In India, two deaths have been reported, with the number of sufferers are over 80. All kinds of sports activities have already been suspended in the country. The India-South Africa bilateral ODI series and the Indian Premier League (IPL) have been suspended.

Kohli urged the countrymen to remain strong and fight against the outbreak of the virus in the days of the terror. On his official Twitter he wrote, “Let’s stay strong and fight the COVID-19 outbreak by taking all precautionary measures. Stay safe, be vigilant and most importantly remember, prevention is better than cure. Please take care everyone.”
