The legendary pacer posted a video on Twitter on Friday (May 29) morning, telling the whole story. He said he would never be seen on social media again. This is not the first time that his social media account has been hacked by hackers, he said.

Waqar, who took 373 wickets in 87 Tests and 416 wickets in 262 ODIs for Pakistan, has received a response from social media. Many have been surprised by the whole incident.

Waqar said in the video message, “I am very sorry to say that I woke up in the morning to find that someone had hacked my Twitter account. And liked the following videos from my account. It’s a shame, a pity. It is also very uncomfortable for my family. I thought social media was a means of communicating with people. I thought he would not stop what he did. Such incidents have happened before. So I am removing myself from social media. My family wants the same.”
