Ten channels will televise the Vivo Indian Premier League 2018 in twelve countries and regions all over the world. Star Sports is the official broadcaster of the tournament that starts Saturday.
Star Sports won the broadcasting rights with a deal of $2.5 billion over five years to telecast IPL. Each year will cost them $508 million. Sony had the broadcasting rights in past ten IPL seasons.
Star India offers the matches to be telecasted in six languages (English, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Bengali, Telugu). Hotstar will show the matches live on internet.
Bangladeshi viewers will be able to watch the blistering T20 league on Star Sports and Channel 9.
