The right-hander did not resume play after the end of the first day of the second round after selectors decided to call him for the second Test in Dhaka. He was initially dropped from squad for Windies series following a poor run during Zimbabwe series. He made a duck and 95-ball 84 against South Zone in Sylhet in the first round of BCL.
