Afghanistan won the series opener by 45 runs on Sunday after they put on 167 on board. Bangladesh were clueless in the run-chase. It was Afghanistan’s first win over the Tigers in this format.

Dehradun’s wicket helped the spinners in the last game. Keeping that in mind, Bangladesh skipper Shakib Al Hasan chose to bat first in the second T20I.

Bangladesh have made two changes to their playing XI. Soumya Sarkar and left-arm pacer Abu Hider Rony have been picked in place of Abul Hasan Raju and Abu Jayed Rahi. This means the Tigers are playing with eight genuine batsmen. Afghanistan are unchanged from their previous match.
