Bangladesh have won the toss and elected to field first in the second Test of the two match Test series against New Zealand. Currently, the Tigers are leading the series 1-0, a step away from creating history.
The visitors had to make two forced changes to their playing XI. Mahmudul Hasan Joy got injured in the first Test while fielding, and Mushfiqur Rahim got injured just hours before the game.
Mohammad Naim and Nurul Hasan is selected in place of the two batters. This will be Mohammad Naim's debut in the longest format of international cricket.
New Zealand have made one change to their playing XI, as Daryl Mitchell will be replacing Rachin Ravindra. This means that the Kiwis will be going into the contest without a specialist spinner.
This Test match will be Ross Taylor's final Test in his career.
