Bangladesh bowlers have been trying hard to make a grip back in the match, capturing early wickets of India in their second innings. Young pace man Taskin Ahmed nailed 2 wickets within five overs. In his second over and the fourth over of Indian innings, the faint edge in the delivery of Taskin Ahmed was subtly grabbed by Mushfiqur Rahim; he went scoring 7 off 14.

One over after, in the sixth over of the innings, Taskin Ahmed provided another blow in the Indian innings. This time it was a healthy edge by Lokesh Rahul carried in the gloves of Mushfiqur Rahim. Rahul added 10 from 17.
