Live: Mominul fifty leads the way, Bangladesh 105/2
Bangladesh have started the first Test against Windies on a comfortable note apart from losing their openers in the first session at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium, Chattogram.

Shakib Al Hasan made his return to the side after recovering from finger injury. He went out at the toss and elected to bat first. 17-year-old off-spinner Nayeem Hasan made his Test debut.
Bangladesh lost Soumya Sarkar right in the first over as he outside-edged Kemar Roach in the third ball of the match. Soumya had to leave without disturbing the scorecard on his return to Test XI.

Imrul Kayes and Mominul Haque negotiated most part of the session. Imrul was lucky enough to stay at the crease. He was dropped in the slips and then a no-ball was called off Jomel Warrican when Imrul slog-swept straight into Shannon Gabriel’s hands at deep-midwicket.
Mominul continued his good form from the recent Dhaka Test (against Zimbabwe). He brought up his 13th Test fifty in 69 balls. The session looked good for Bangladesh until Imrul fell to Warrican giving a catch to short-leg. He made 44 runs off 87 balls including 5 boundaries.
The 104-run second-wicket partnership was broken at stroke of lunch. Bangladesh are 105 for the loss of two wickets in 26.5 overs. Mominul has remained unbeaten on 75-ball 55 runs with 7 fours.
Brief scores:
Bangladesh 105/2 in 26.5 overs (Mominul 55*, Imrul 44; Roach 1/15, Warrican 1/26)
