Mominul reached his 13th Test fifty off 78 balls. Liton, on the other hand, showed what he could do. The partnership completed 100 runs in just 159 balls.

The hosts have scored 106 runs in 28.1 overs in the session, which is completely dominated by Mominul and Liton. Mominul also has broken the record of most runs by a Bangladeshi in a Test match (176 and 70*).
