With losing Soumya Sarkar (33) just before lunch, Australia struck twice in the second session too. Nathan Lyon picked up his fourth wicket so far by getting rid of Mominul Haque for lbw for 31 runs off 67 balls with two fours.

For the first time in the history a bowler has got all the wickets of top four batsmen by lbw in an innings.

In-form Shakib Al Hasan got dismissed by playing a loose shot against Ashton Agar. He made 24 runs off 52 balls hitting three fours. Bangladesh were under pressure as they were five wickets down for 117 runs.

Skipper Mushfiqur Rahim and Sabbir Rahman developed resistance with an broken 38-run partnership. Mushfiqur is on 79-ball 29 with two fours while aggressive Sabbir has made 24 off 36 including two fours and a six so far. They have decreased the pressure in the second half of the session.

The session ended with one boundary each from Mushfiqur and Sabbir off medium pacer Hilton Cartwright. 85 runs have come in this session for two wickets in 30.2 overs. It has been a much better session than the first session for the hosts. Bangladesh are 155/5 in 60 overs at tea.
