Mahmudullah hopeful of beating India

Ahead of their first in the ongoing Nidahas Trophy, Bangladesh skipper Mahmudullah Riyad has said that they are enough capable of doing well against India, despite losing 9 out of 10 T20Is against them.

“We have won only one out of 10 games. There will be pressure to perform well. Each game is a new challenge for us. We have to come up with something in particular in our execution. But we feel that we have the capability to do well,” said Mahmudullah to the media in Colombo Wednesday.

Although some of the regular members of India team including Virat Kohli and MS Dhoni are not with the team, Mahmudullah still considers as a strong opponent.

“I am hopeful in every game. India are a strong side despite some of their experienced players not coming to this tour. We are focused on ourselves, which will probably help us more.”

The stand-in T20I captain has also revealed that they are confident and have no doubt amongst them ahead of the big game. “What talked in practice[session] regarding the things we are already capable of doing well and idea is to execute well the things we are good at. So that there is no doubt amongst us.
