Masakadza retained as Zimbabwe captain in all three formats

Zimbabwe batsman Hamilton Masakadza has been retained as Zimbabwe’s skipper across all three formats for the upcoming season.

Despite yet to taste victory under Masakadza in the ODI format, Zimbabwe have kept the opening batsman as the captain in all three formats of the game. Zimbabwe have played 20 ODIs under him so far and they have lost all.
However, Masakadza led Zimbabwe to a Test series draw against Bangladesh in Bangladesh last year. And the Zimbabwe Cricket Board has backed him and asked him to continue as captain.

Meanwhile,  Peter Moor has been elected as the vice-captain. He had an amazing last year and was also a crucial part in the Test series against Bangladesh,

Zimbabwe have also appointed Dilip Chouhan as their new manager. He will be in charge of Zimbabwe, Zimbabwe A and Zimbabwe Under-19 national teams.

Walter Chawaguta, former Zimbabwe captain Prosper Utseya and Kenyon Ziehl have been confirmed as substantive members of the Zimbabwe National Selection Panel. Chawaguta continues as the convener of selectors.
