Mashrafe-Shakib to leave Dhaka for SA on Saturday
Bangladesh ODI skipper Mashrafe Mortaza, his deputy Shakib Al Hasan alongside Nasir Hossain and Mohammad Saif Uddin will start their journey towards South Africa on Saturday morning ahead of the 3-matc ODI series.[বাংলায় পড়ুনঃ শনিবার দক্ষিণ আফ্রিকা যাচ্ছেন মাশরাফি-নাসিররা]
Bangladesh Test team are currently in South Africa to feature in the Test series. The series decider Test between the two sides has started from Friday. At the end of Test series with a gap of four days the three-match ODI series between the Tigers and Proteas will start from 15 October.
Aiming to join with the ODI squad prior to the series, Mashrafe and his co who were not the part of Test squad, will leave Bangladesh on Saturday morning around at 10.00 am in local time. The squad are going to travel early because they will take part one-off 50-over warm-up match against the South Africa Invitational XI on 12 October.
Most of the cricketers of Test squad, have been called up in the ODI squad. As a result, they are already in South Africa. Hence, this four cricketers are going to join with them.
To be noted, three-match ODI series are scheduled to be played respectively on 15, 18 and 22 October.
