Mashrafe wishes Razzak on new journey
Former Bangladesh captain Mashrafe Bin Mortaza has wished the new selector Abdur Razzak a great journey with his new job.
On Wednesday, Razzak was announced as the third member of the current selection panel. Although the 38-year-old could not have a farewell game.
Razzak was the first Bangladeshi to take 200 ODI wickets. He scripted fruitful memories during his time.
The left-arm spinner gets best wishes from Bangladesh’s all-time finest captain Mashrafe, who also stated him as GOAT (greatest of all time).
“Khan Abdur Razzak (Raj), it’s a bit late to wish [you] good luck,” Mashrafe wrote on his official Facebook page.
“Like me, many people are happy for this achievement. But what makes me more happy is you can finally show how deep your understanding of cricket is. I know you will give your best and be successful.
“Everyone has seen your left-arm magic so far. But now, they will see your intelligence, in which I never had a doubt. I have talked to you in critical situations and that’s why I am saying you will be succesful.
“I thank the cricket board for giving this man proper respect. Endless love, friend (GOAT).”
Razzak’s tenure is likely to start from New Zealand tour. The current selection panel includes Minhajul Abedin Nannu as the chief and Habibul Bashar.
