Medical screening for visitors at Karachi Stadium
Coronavirus, which has spread from China, has also been identified in Pakistan. However, the government does not see the reason for canceling any occasion for this. Due to which the ongoing Pakistan Super League (PSL) game schedule will continue, authorities said.
But as part of the alert, medical screening is being arranged for visitors at Karachi Stadium entrance.
The Bangladesh team is scheduled to play a ODI and a Test at the Karachi ground next month. The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has already said that they will contact the PCB on the Coronavirus issue.
Until Tuesday, news of the five virus attacks in Pakistan has been raised. The PCB contacted Pakistan’s Sindh government and said they would continue playing. However, it is advisable to undergo medical screening for all visitors to the stadium. And hand sanitizers have been asked to make sure that visitors can wash their hands after entering the field.
Earlier, Secretary General of Pakistan Medical Association Dr S M Qaisar Sajjad advised the PCB that a thermal scanner should be installed at the stadium. Bangladesh is keeping an eye on the situation in the country due to the increasing number of coronavirus attacks in Pakistan, BCB Director Jalal Yunus said they would talk to the PCB about the matter.
