‘Mirpur wicket looks like roads in Sri Lanka!’

After the five day Test in Chittagong without a result being brought, visiting Sri Lanka clinched the two match series within three and half days in Dhaka. “Sometimes, when the weather becomes rough, we have had this sort of wicket. Otherwise it just looked like a building road, when people construct roads in our country, they mix sands and other things, that turns out like this, the wicket in Mirpur,” Roshen Silva said.

Bangladesh were bombarded by Akila Dananjaya and Rangana Herath in their second innings, the spin duo shared 9 wickets between them leaving the single one for Kusal Perera.

The hosts second innings was extended by just 13 runs from the first innings, they were bundled out scoring 123 runs thus allowed Sri Lanka to win the match by a huge margin of 215 runs.
