Mohsin, threatener of Shakib, arrested
Mohsin Talukder, who came live on Facebook and threatened to kill Shakib Al Hasan, has been arrested. This resident of Sylhet has been arrested from Sunamganj.
The young man came live on social media Facebook at 12:07 pm on Sunday and showed rancorous attitude towards Shakib. Throughout the live video, Mohsin abused Shakib in vulgar language. During Shakib’s visit to Kolkata, Shakib’s presence in Kali Puja and threw fan’s mobile phone because of the man tried to take selfie with Shakib- Mohsin used much vulgar languages to show his anger towards Shakib. He also expressed dissatisfaction that Shakib did not maintain quarantine.
After this, a case was filed in his name under the ICT Act at Jalalabad Police Station in Sylhet. Police forces have been working to arrest Mohsin since the case. However, Mohsin’s family claimed that Mohsin was mentally unbalanced. He behaved like this for mental illness. Although there has been no clear evidence of that.
Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested Mohsin from Sunamganj on Tuesday morning. Mohsin is the son of Azad Box Talukder of Shahpur Talukdarpara under Jalalabad Police Station of Sylhet Metropolitan Police.
Mohsin came back live on Monday morning and turned his words around. He then said that he had prayed for Shakib after the Fajr prayers and demanded that Shakib should apologize to the people of the country for attending the puja.
It should be mentioned that Shakib clarified his position in a YouTube video on Monday (November 16) evening. Although he didn’t inaugurate the puja, he apologized.
