Mominul still hopeful of entering into Super Four

No matter how tough the equation is, opener Mominul Haque is expecting the best possible outcome from forthcoming matches to ensure a place in the next round of the competition.

The runner up of the previous season Rajshahi Kings won three matches on the other side of losing five out of eight matches they played.

After the net practice in the day of interval at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong, Mominul Haque told he is hopeful to win rest of the matches.

“We were in a similar situation last season and came back strongly in Chittagong leg. Now I’m hoping to win two coming matches here to get a position in super four,” he said.

Mominul reckoned he has nothing to prove himself anymore, “I feel I have nothing to prove myself again nor take any challenge. For last few months, I’ve attentively try to improve my batting technique and position whether it be in ODI, Test or T20.”

Rajshahi Kings will lock horns against table toppers Khulna Titans in their next match.

Mominul said it is Khulna Titans who will be under pressure in the next occasion.

“Pressure will be greater upon Khulna Titans because if they lose they would be in trouble. If we could play according to plan, our team would win the match if Almighty wishes,” Mominul said.
