Bangladesh all-rounder Mosaddek Hossain has said that he’s working with his finishing skill at the moment ahead of the ODI series against Sri Lanka which is scheduled to start this month.

“There’s always a specific responsibility for the finisher in batting. The job is always to take the team to a good position, finishing off the innings in style. It is our responsibility to finish well. Yorkers and slowers are more common during this phase. I am working on it. Other than that, I don’t think there’s anything new to do,” he said.

The 25-year old Mosaddek has suffered a lot of injuries in recent times. After recovering from the injury, he is now fully fit to play. “After recovering from the injury, I got the opportunity to practice for only 2-3 days,” he said. “Even after coming here, I practiced for 2 days. I’m feeling better so far. The foot has improved a lot from the previous condition. I did everything from batting to bowling, I also did gym. Nothing seems to be a problem.”

Mosaddek also expressed hope that the Tigers will soon turn around their fortune and give great performance in the field. “I’m certainly much more confident than before. When I am batting and bowling, it seems that my shape is much better than before. From that place I will say that I am much more confident now than before. The condition of the team in recent times, everyone is seeing that we are having a bad time. Hopefully we will get over it very soon and our team will come back well,” he added.

One of the promising all-rounder of Bangladesh national team, Mosaddek has played 3 Tests, 35 ODIs and 15 T20Is so far.
