Mosharraf Rubel’s father passes away


Bangladesh cricketer Mosharraf Hossain Rubel’s father was admitted to the hospital with corona contamination. In the end, Rubel’s father Mohiuddin Khandaker could not come back with life support. He died yesterday (August 18) at around 8 pm.

The family of all-rounder Mosharraf Rubel is infected with the ongoing corona virus. He was also contracted with this deadly virus. But before Mosharraf Rubel, his father was first attacked by Corona. He then became infected after his father.

Rubel’s father was in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) as the situation deteriorated. Mohiuddin, 65, could not cope with Corona even after a long treatment there. The Cricketers’ Welfare Association of Bangladesh (CWAB) has confirmed the death of Musharraf Rubel’s father.

Before it, Mosharraf Rubel told BDCrictime on August 9 that his father was corona infected, he said,

“I’ve never been positive. My father is also in the ICU of CMH after being positive. 5-6 days have passed since he is admitted. Now he is a little better than before. But don’t know what is going to happen, nothing can be said at this moment”

”He was given saline few days ago, now he’s been giving liquid foods through tube. But he’s now able to talk.” he said.
