The Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protisthan (BKSP) and the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) have signed a MoU today on Wednesday for development and using of two new cricket grounds at BKSP. Acting CEO of BCB Nizam Uddin Chowdhury (2nd from Left) and Director General of BKSP Brig Gen Md. Emadul Haque (2nd from Right) are exchanging files in presence of the BCB President Nazmul Hassan Papon, MP (center) after officially signing of an MoU concerning development and using of two new cricket grounds at the The Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protisthan (BKSP).
Facilities Committee Chairman of BCB Mahbubul Anam (Left) and Grounds Committee Chairman Lokman Hossain Bhuiyan both were also present at the occasion. Under this agreement the Bangladesh Cricket Board will build two new cricket venues (BKSP 3 & BKSP 4) at the BKSP at their own cost and resources. The development work will be included with modern drainage system, separated pavilions for each ground complete with the dressing rooms, match officials’ rooms, hospitality areas, media facilities, dining areas and dormitories with the accommodation for approximately 44 persons.
The Bangladesh Cricket Board(BCB) will use the venues for hosting domestic or international matches and training programmes under its jurisdiction. The BKSP will also have their access to the facilities for their training purpose. The Bangladesh Cricket Board(BCB) will be responsible for routine maintenance of the both grounds.
