Mushfiqur ruled out due to injury


Mushfiqur Rahim will miss Bangladesh’s last World Cup game against Pakistan due to a finger injury.

Bangladesh will take on Pakistan in their last World Cup game and Mushfiqur Rahim is set to miss the clash due to a finger injury, he suffered during the training session on Thursday.

While batting in the nets, Mushfiqur suffered the injury and he left the training session straight away. After spending some time in the dressing room, he was sent to the hospital for scans.

If something dramatic doesn’t happen and Mushfiqur forces himself to play the game, he is all set to miss the game. On the other hand, Mahmudullah, who missed the last game against India due to calf injury is likely to return in the last game. Though he is only 70% fit, he is likely to take the risk and play the game for Bangladesh.

Meanwhile, some reports are also claiming that Bangladesh skipper Mashrafe Bin Mortaza will not play the last game. This decision can come in also due to injury. He also didn’t train with the team on Thursday.
