Mustafizur has so far played only one match in this season’s IPL. In the match against Mumbai Indians, he proved to be too much expensive, conceding 34 runs off just 2.4 overs. Since that match, he hasn’t any more match playing oppotunity for the David Warner-led side.

Last year, Mustafizur played a total of 16 games where he scalped 17 wickets at an economy rate of 6.90. He received high praises for his great performance. This year though has not been a good one for him and he might not get another chance now.

On the other hand, Bangladesh national cricket team will leave for England on April 26. They will first hold a 10-day conditioning camp in Sussex before heading to Ireland to play a tri-nation series involving the hosts and New Zealand as the other two sides.

After the completion of the tri-series on May 24, Bangladesh will again head back to England where they will play the ICC Champions Trophy 2017. As per the schedule, Bangladesh will face hosts England in the first game of the ICC tournament on June 1 before taking on Australia and New Zealand on June 5 and 9 respectively.
