Nafees Iqbal along with his family recover from Corona


Former Bangladesh opener Nafees Iqbal has been recovered from Coronavirus contamination. The second sample of the opener did not show the presence of the contagious virus, after he fall victim to the deadly virus.

Due to some prominent symptoms, Nafees tested his sample in mid-June, and he was tested with the presence of COVID-19. In fact he is not the only person who was attacked, ODI captain Tamim Iqbal’s mother Nusrat Iqbal and several other family members was also tested positive for the virus.

However, after Corona was identified in them, they took treatment at home in Chittagong. He has recovered from home isolation following the doctor’s advice. Recently, samples of all family members were tested again , but no virus was found in any of the samples. Everyone’s sample test result has came negative.

Nafees himself confirmed the news of recovery while talking to BDCricTime. ” Many people have prayed for me, while I was sick, those who have not been contacted have also searched for me and prayed. I have recovered from the virus for your prayers and I am grateful for that ” Nafees said.

Not only Nafees and his mother, but also Nafees’s sons and daughters were affected. However, they havent recovered from the contamination, while the rest of the members of the house had negative results.

“My mother was contaminated first. Then I did the test along with my family. Then my son and daughter Namir-Anayar were also contaminated. Although, my wife was tested negative. But I always thought he would be positive with the baby. But Alhamdulillah, everyone has come negative. We have tested our domestic workers, they have also come negative.” Said Nafees.
