Nasir-Anamul smash double hundred on day-3

All-rounder Nasir Hossain strikes a double ton on the third day after he continued his innings of 101 not out from yesterday. His career-best knock puts Rangpur Division in commanding position against Barisal at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong. Apart from Nasir another batsman of Rangpur division, Ariful Haque smashed a century. Earlier, Nasir started his day on 101 while Ariful Haque was on 34. They successfully have passed the day without losing their wicket.

The partnership between the right-handed duo currently stands at 299, that helped Rangpur to lead by 149 runs with their score at 484 for the loss of four wickets at Tea on the third day. Ariful is currently unbeaten on 135 while Nasir on 271.

On the other hand, another natinal team batsman Anamul Haque also registered a double ton against Dhaka Division today at Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protishtan, Ground 3 in Savar. The right-handed opener continued his innings from unbeaten 167 of yesterday to reach his double hundred before he went back to the pavilion for 202.

Meanwhile, young batsman Nazmul Hossain Shanto missed out on a well deserved double ton as the he fell for 194 on the third day at Shahid Kamruzzaman Stadium in Rajshahi. He smashed 21 boundaries during his 296-ball innings.

At the end of the second day, Nasir Hossain was not out at 101 runs playing 167 deliveries with 12 fours and 2 sixes. He crossed the double hundred in the second session of the third day where he faced 351 balls. At tea in the third day, Nasir was not out scoring 218 runs in 376 deliveries with 24 shots of four and 2 sixes.]
