Nathan Lyon brutally trolls England
Nathan Lyon made a cheeky statement to England’s comment of not celebrating the 2-2 Ashes series draw.
The summer has been an excellent one to remember for England and the cricket world. The action was jam-packed starting from the World Cup to the Ashes and the hosts tasted something magical but yet a bit strange. They won their first-ever World Cup despite both the match and the super over was tied while they lost the Ashes despite the series being drawn 2-2.
However, in both occasions, there was some valid rules and while one thing went in favour of them, the other went to the opposite. England won the World Cup as they shashed more boundaries than New Zealand in the final while Australia lifted the urn despite the series being 2-2 because they won the last Ashes.
Meanwhile, Australia’s vital off-spinner came up with a cheeky statement when England players asked him to not celebrate the Ashes as it was drawn 2-2.
“Even though it’s a 2-2 series and England were telling me I couldn’t celebrate a draw, but they did exactly the same during the World Cup,” he said.
No wonder why Lyon is called the G.O.A.T of Australia.
