Neesham ready to take bribes to watch Australia-Pakistan Test
New Zealand all-rounder Jimmy Neesham is well-known for his Twitter activity. He got his fame tweeting after the lose to England in a strange way in the final of the ICC Men’s World Cup 2019 in England.
However, the New Zealand cricketer had been back in talks after tweeting about the ongoing Australia-Pakistan Test series. He tweeted about the first Test at Gabba when Australia were batted in their first innings of the match.
When Joe Burns was batting at 97, Neesham turned on the TV. And then at that moment, Pakistan spinner Yasir Shah bowled the opener. After that, Neesham’s humorous level at it’s best while posting about the incident on his Twitter wall.
He thought himself a curse for Australia and tweeted that he was ready to take bribes from Pakistan fans to keep watching the rest of the match. He wrote,
“The Burns wicket is the first ball I’ve watched of this entire Test. So naturally I’m now accepting all bribes from Pakistan fans to keep watching.”
In the meanwhile, Australia had been in the winning position after they took the lead by 340 runs in the first innings. Pakistan finished the third day on 64 for 3 wickets and will start the fourth day trailing by 276 runs. Pakistan scored 240 runs in their first innings.
