Ahead of the T20I series, New Zealand already announced a pre-squad that had 11 players in the lists and they told that the final squad would be announced after the conclusion of limited over games between Pakistan A and New Zealand A.

Corey Anderson, the all rounder, and Glenn Phillips, the wicketkeeper-batsman, have been added to New Zealand’s squad for the forthcoming three-match T20I series after their good runs for New Zealand A in the on going tour.

Anderson and Phillips, who are part of the New Zealand A set-up, are expected to play the remaining two one day games against Pakistan A before joining the squad.

Corey Anderson was last seen in the color clothes in the game against Bangladesh last year in ICC Champions trophy in England. The all-rounder also had some fitness issues and went for a back surgery last year and struggled to make an impact for RCB in the IPL 2018, finishing with 17 runs and three scalps.

Phillips, who made his T20 debut during the 2016-17 season for Auckland, has compiled 97 runs in eight T20Is for New Zealand.

New Zealand T20I Squad:
