“The home series against New Zealand Under-19 squad is postponed for the time being as they informed us that they are not coming as per schedule. It looks like they are yet to recover from the shock due to the terror attack. It is understood that the parents might have some reservations as the series was expected to be played between young cricketers,” he said.

Sheikh Kamal International Cricket Stadium (SKICS) in Cox’s Bazar and Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram were set to host the matches of the series.

Just a few weeks ago, Bangladesh team escaped the horror Christchurch attack just a day before the start of the third and the final Test. The Test was suspended in the end and Bangladesh team returned home safely immediately the next day.
