Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Season 5 is going to be started from November. All the franchises are now having a busy time in rearranging and rebuilding their teams. Even before players’ draft some of the teams have already started to own players. Some of the franchises have ensured coaches too.

Chittagong Vikings have appointed Nurul Abedin, former cricketer of Bangladesh Cricket Team as head coach for the upcoming season of BPL. He is commonly known as Nobel. He is the elder brother of Minhajul Abedin Nannu and a local boy of Chittagong.

Nobel played for Bangladesh National Cricket team from 1986 to 1990. He played four international cricket matches for Bangladesh. Personally he’s a right handed batsman. He opened in the innings of Bangladesh in the very first official ODI against Pakistan in 1986 held at at Moratuw. He played extra-ordinarily well in ICC Trophy 1990-91, he smacked a century against Canada and 85 against Denmark. He was the assistant coach of Bangladesh A Cricket team previously.

This Saturday players’ draft of this BPL is going to be held in Hotel Radisson, Dhaka. Each of the teams has to take at least seven local and two foreign players for their team in this players’ draft. And then the main fight in the field will be started from 2nd November, 2017.
