With a comprehensive win over New Zealand by 119 runs, England has also joined with Australia and India in the semi-final berth. The win from England has put Pakistan in a tough situation to progress further in the tournament.

According to the current situation, New Zealand has a net run rate of +0.75 whereas Pakistan has a net run rate of -0.792. Thus, Pakistan needs to win against Bangladesh by a gargantuan margin to get through to the semifinals. The gargantuan margins needed by Pakistan will make it awful when seeing it.

Pakistan have chances to qualify by only batting first in the game against Bangladesh on Friday. If they are supposed to bat second, the chance level will be finished at the end of the toss time.

If Pakistan score 308 runs, they will need to bowl out Bangladesh for zero runs. If they score 350 runs, they will need to skittle out the Tigers for 39 runs. If they get 400 runs, they will need to bundle out Mashrafe Mortaza-led side for 84 runs. If they score 450, they will need to get Bangladesh out for 129 runs. If Pakistan post 500, they will need to get Bangladesh out for 174 runs.
