Pakistan pacer Naseem Shah has set a world record in his hat-trick in Rawalpindi Test against Bangladesh couple of days ago. The 16-year-old pacer has become the youngest bowler in Test cricket history to take a hat-trick in a match.

After the hat-trick against Bangladesh, Naseem Shah was able to make just two balls. He had to leave the field with an injury. Although initially suspected of a major injury, it is later revealed that Naseem Shah’s injury was not so serious.

Naseem Shah could not finish the entire over in the third day due to an injury. Mohammad Abbas finished his over. Naseem did not return to the field for the fourth day after an MRI.

Naseem Shah said,

“The injury is not serious. The muscles were tense. As part of the prerequisite, I did not bowl anymore.”

However, in less than a session time in the fourth day of the first Test at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, hosts Pakistan took away a comprehensive win by an innings and 44 runs against Bangladesh on Monday, February 10. With the win Pakistan gathered 60 points in ICC World Test Championship.

The second and final Test between the two sides will be played from 5-9 April.
