Finally it is a very good news for Bangladesh that they are qualified for the ICC World Cup 2019 that’s why they need not to play any qualifier round. Pakistan needed a 3-0 win over West Indies in the recent ODI series to directly qualify for the World Cup but they managed to win the series 2-1 which is not enough for their qualification of World Cup.

After the conclusion of the series, when the ranking was released the Pakistani team could be seen at number 8 position and the West Indies ended up being on number 9. Both the teams will now have to play a qualifier round which is to be played in 2018.

For the direct qualifications, the rankings would be taken into consideration within May 1, 2017. With no more international matches for both teams before the specified time limit, they might have out of the direct qualifications.

The ICC World Cup Qualifier round will be played against the top associate nations like Afghanistan, Ireland and Zimbabwe. South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, India, England, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh are the top 7 teams who have already qualified for the tournament that to be held in England and Wales in 2019
