People don't troll the likes of Sachin, so why troll Sujon Sir: Taskin

For various reasons, Sujon’s name is often on the table of critics. However, his contribution to the cricket field has always been acknowledged by all. This time, Taskin also revealed how much Sujon has contributed to the rise of many cricketers like him, whom he still keeps as guardians.

“Sujon Sir has contributed a lot to our rise, no doubt,” Taskin said to Bdcrictime. “He played a big role in the rise of many cricketers including me, Mustafiz (Mustafizur Rahman), Shanto (Najmul Hossain Shanto), Mosaddek (Mosaddek Hossain). We played age-based and Dhaka Premier League under Sir for long time. It was Sujon Sir who created our playing platform. I first played in the Premier League at Old DOHS. Sujon Sir told me to join the team. Then he took me to BPL. There are still a lot of cricketers who are in danger of not getting a team or something like that, they seek help from Sujon Sir.”

Taskin thinks who make trolls about this senior figure in cricket are doing the wrong thing. Taskin considers those who have contributed to the rise of cricket in Bangladesh as legends.

“Those who troll Sujon Sir, do it very unfairly. Sujon Sir, Akram Sir (Akram Khan), Sumon Sir (Habibul Bashar), Nannu Sir (Minhajul Abedin Nannu)- their contribution to our cricket is much greater. Today, by the grace of Allah, Bangladesh cricket is at a very big stage, it is due to their contribution. So you have to think about who you are trolling,”

the 25-year old pacer said.

Tasking therefore urged everyone to show respect them like foreign legendary cricketers. “In our neighboring country India-Pakistan, people do not troll the likes of Sachin Tendulkar, Sunil Gavaskar, Wasim Akram, Waqar Younis, Saqlain Mushtaq. We should understand all situations. We do many mistakes in our daily life. They are the legends of Bangladesh in highest level. We should respect them from the core of heart,” Taskin said.
