Photo Album: Bangladesh vs New Zealand, First Test, Day 3

The third day of the ongoing Test match between Bangladesh and New Zealand hasn’t been as good as compared to the first two days of the game. While the Tigers were in the driver’s seat at the end of both day one and two, they had to take a back seat at stumps of the third day.

It’s because the Kiwis have launched an effective counterattack after Bangladesh declaring their first innings for 595 for 8. On the day 3, Bangladesh bowlers could remove only three Black Caps batsmen, whereas the home side took runs in good speed to shed an end to the day with as many as 292 runs on the board. They are currently trailing Bangladesh by 303 runs in the first innings.

The current picture of the game could have been lot different if Bangladesh had been a bit more sincere in their fielding, and not missed as many as five chances. Overall, the third day of the game wasn’t one Bangladesh ever dreamt of.
