Photo Album: Bangladesh vs Zimbabwe 1st Test (Day 3), Sylhet

The first Test between Bangladesh and Zimbabwe in Sylhet is expecting a result soon as Bangladesh require 295 more runs to win after the end of day three.

Zimbabwe started the day with 1/0, a 140-run lead. Skipper Hamilton Masakadza top-scored for them with 48 runs. Bangladesh got Zimbabwe bowled out for 181 runs in 65.4 overs in the second innings.

Taijul Islam, who took 6 wickets in the first innings, grabbed five for 62 in 28.2 overs including eight maidens in the second innings. He became only the fourth Bangladeshi to take a ten-wicket haul in a Test match. Mehidy Hasan Miraz (3) and Nazmul Islam Apu (2) were also among the wickets.

Like the first day, Mushfiqur Rahim faced an unexpected entrance by a fan once again in the third day.

Needing 321 runs to win, Liton Das and Imrul Kayes finished the day with 26/0 in 10.1 overs. Play was called off early due to poor light conditions.
