The former India captain MS Dhoni who was serving in the Parachute Regiment of the Territorial Army in J&K was in the headlines once again. A picture of MS Dhoni playing cricket with kids in Leh started doing the rounds on social media platforms.

Chennai Super Kings (CSK), the Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise captained by MS Dhoni took to Twitter to share a picture of him enjoying his time with kids in Leh.

“Different field. Different gamepLeh. #Thala @msdhoni #WhistlePodu,” the caption read.

Previously, MS Dhoni was seen playing volleyball with members of his Territorial Army battalion in a video that spread like wildfire on social media earlier in August.

MS Dhoni was last seen playing for India during the World Cup, where India were knocked out in the semi-final contest after losing a close battle against New Zealand.

The 38-year-old wicketkeeper-batsman took 2 months sabbatical from the game of cricket as he made himself unavailable for West Indies tour.

The selectors went for Rishabh Pant as the lone wicketkeeper-batsman for the limited-overs format of the tour but the latter failed to impress as he was criticised for poor shot selection in four innings out the five he played against the West Indies.

With the upcoming home series assignment against South Africa in September, MS Dhoni may get a recall into the Indian team squad for T20Is. India are scheduled to play 3 T20Is and 3 Test matches against South Africa starting September 15 onwards.
