Kerr is a young cricketing sensation who was popular even before playing a single game for New Zealand. At 14 years old, a video of Kerr bowling went viral and the selectors of the New Zealand national team wasted no time in fast tracking her into the first team lineup.  Kerr made her ODI debut in November 2016 against Pakistan, where she managed to get six wickets across four games. Her best performance however was against Australia, where she managed to claim four wickets that included - Elyse Villani, Alyssa Healy and Meg Lanning.

Kerr is the grand-daughter of former New Zealand Test cricketer Bruce Murray.
