In the meantime, Niroshan Dickwella who was suffering from dengue is “almost” recovered and will be travelling with the team. He even practiced at the ground. However, he is unlikely to be in the final eleven for the first ODI. Kusal Perera is likely to keep wickets.

The coach (Mickey Arthur) and the captain (Dimuth Karunaratne) will decide the final eleven. Five bowlers are likely to play in the first match.

There will be a toss-up between Dasun Shanaka and Thisara Perera. Most probably Thisara Perera may play.
