Charge Sheet to be submitted soon against Sunny

It seems the problems for national cricketer Arafat Sunny is not going to solve soon. The Cricketer was arrested under the Information and Communication Act (ICT) earlier this month. Moohammed Yahia, The Officer incharge for this ICT case and the sub-inspector of the Mohammed Pur Police Station confirmed this today.

He said, “We have confiscated the mobiles of both Arafat Sunny and Nasreen. And have sent those to the Crime Investigation Department for further investigation”.

We want to know the details about the case that is why we got their mobiles. The CID will do the forensic tests of those device. We have not got the reports yet. It is after we get the forensic report from CID, we will submit the Charge sheet to the court.

According to the case statement filed by Nasrin Sultana on January 5, 2017 at the Mohammadpur Police Station, Sunny threatened to reveal indecent photos of Nasrin on Facebook. Sunny, while speaking to the police, denied the allegations and said that they were all made up.

In the case statement Nasrin claimed to be in a relationship with Sunny for the last seven years and also said that the couple got married on December 4, 2014. However, according to Nasrin’s statement, neither of the families knew about their wedding. Nasrin claimed that despite her repeated requests Sunny refused to take her home.
