West Indies beat Bangladesh by 5 wickets to take the series by 2-0. Captain Nicholas Pooran and Kyle Mayers hit half centuries after Bangladesh post 163/5 in the first innings.
Bangladesh won the toss and elected to bat first. Anamul Haque could not capitalize on the opportunities given as he fell pretty cheaply to Odean Smith. Shakib Al Hasan, the top scorer in the last two match for the Tigers, could not make it big, as he perished for 5.
Afif Hossain was promoted up the order. He alongside opener Litton Das started the rebuild. Their partnership of 57 brought the innings back on track. Litton fell prey to Hayden Walsh for 49, but the Tigers were on track to post a score beyond 170.
However, captain Mahmudullah, looked way out of touch as he stumbled his way through 22 of 20. Afif Hossain reached his second 50 of 38 deliveries, but was run out in the same ball as well. Bangladesh, in the managed 163/5. Hayden Walsh was the pick of the bowlers with 2 wickets.
West Indies had to overcome a heavy Bangladesh spin attack in the beginning of the innings. The visitors looked successful in restricting the Windies, as the hosts were at 43/3 at one point.
However, when skipper Nicholas Pooran joined Kyle Mayers, West Indies looked a different side. They confidently took the attack to the bowlers, as they displayed a range of strokeplay all over the park. The pacers could not stand up to the deadly duo of Pooran and Mayers, as the match slipped out of Bangladesh's fingers quite quickly.
The partnership reached 85 runs of 51 balls, when Nasum Ahmed finally dismissed Mayers for 55, which was his first T20I fifty. However, it was all too late as Pooran went on to an unbeaten 74 of 39 to seal the match for the hosts. Bangladesh remain winless in this tour.
