Preview: Bangladesh look to bounce back in Florida

After a successful ODI series, Bangladesh have failed to change their gear in the T20 format. The visitors suffered a 7-wicket defeat in the first T20I and now they are in a do or die position to level the series.

The surface in Florida is unknown to both the teams. But Windies will slightly get an advantage as some of the players have played there before while playing in Caribbean Premier League.

The openers of Bangladesh, Tamim Iqbal and Soumya Sarkar has a lot to prove after their awful show in the first T20I. Skipper Shakib Al Hasan has already gave an indication that the team needs to score better if the pitch condition remains same as the one in Windies.

Windies are without their destructive opener Chris Gayle and mystery spinner Sunil Narine, but they are still strong and well confident to seal the series. Promoting Andre Russell to the top has done the trick for Windies in the first T20I. They will be looking to do the same if they face something similar challenge.

While on the other hand, Bangladesh will be expecting more from the bowlers. None of them except Mustafizur Rahman could bowl with consistency.

The match is expected to be a run fest as the boundaries are very small in Florida. Both the team will be in attacking mode and who will do it better, remains a question.

Probable XI’s:

Windies: Chadwick Walton (w), Evin Lewis, Andre Fletcher, Marlon Samuels, Rovman Powell, Denesh Ramdin, Andre Russell, Carlos Brathwaite (c), Kesrick Williams, Ashley Nurse, Keemo Paul.

BangladeshLiton Das, Tamim Iqbal, Soumya Sarkar, Mushfiqur Rahim (w), Shakib Al Hasan( c), Mahmudullah, Ariful Haque, Rubel Hossain, Sabbir Rahman, Mustafizur Rahman, Nazmul Islam.
