Protea cricketers' IPL mission comes to an end

After taking part in the VIVO Indian Premier League (IPL) 2017, South African cricketers are going back to country as their timeout is being over according to NOC. The Board of Control for Cricket in India tried to keep Proteas cricketers in the ongoing IPL till the end of group stage round but they became unsuccessful as Cricket South Africa did not agree to extend the time of NOC.

To be noted, Ten star cricketers of South Africa- Hashim Amla, AB de Villiers, David Miller, Faf du Plessis, Imran Tahir, Chris Morris, Kagiso Rabada, and Tabarazz Shamsi had participated in the VIVO Indian Premier League (IPL) 2017.

Participating teams will suffer a lot as those star cricketers are all set to leave. Basically, Rising Pune Supergiant will be the mostly suffered team as Imran Tahir was their one of the consistent performer of the season.

Playoff rounds of this ongoing round will start from 16 May. It has been also learnt, cricketers of England might also leave their team before the kick off playoff round due to their upcoming bilateral series against South Africa which is scheduled to start from 24 May in home.
