Once proudly represented Sylhet in Bangladesh national team, prolific performers like Rajin Saleh Alam and Enamul Haque Junior are out of the recipients of least honor in the occasion. Having failed to be in any playing team, authorities even ignored to provide Rajin and Enamul any particular pass or tickets to enter into the stadium.

Former captain Rajin Saleh frustratingly said, “What is to say? We were there when there was no grandeur. Now, no one cares. Set aside everything, can’t I wish for an invitation card just for representing Sylhet in the national team?”
