Rangpur Riders reach Sylhet For the first time in tournament history, Bangladesh Premier League is to be showed up outside the capital city. With eight matches of the first round including the opening match are rolled to turn up at the Sylhet International Stadium, franchise teams have started to pack up for the popular tourist destination of the country.

On Wednesday, one of the title contenders this season, Rangpur Riders reached Sylhet although the members of the full squad is yet to arrive in Bangladesh.

English all-rounder Ravi Bopara, Afghan performer Samiullah Shenwari travelled with the team to Sylhet.

Rangpur Riders’ bunch of euphoric foreign recruits Chris Henry Gayle, Lasith Malinga and Brendon McCullum are yet to join with the team.

The tournament will kick off with the match between Rangpur Riders and Rajshahi Kings on 4th of November.

Local cricketers: Mashrafe Bin Mortaza, Mohammad Mithun, Sohag Gazi, Rubel Hossain, Shahriyar Nafees, Nazmul Islam Apu, Ziaur Rahman, Fazle Rabbi, Abdur Razzak, Ebadot Hossain, Elias Sunny and Nahidul Islam.

Foreign cricketers: Ravi Bopara, David Willy, Samuel Badree, Johnson Charles, Thisara Perera, Kusal Perera, Adam Lyth, Chris Gayle, Samiullah Shenwari, Jahir Khan, Brendon McCullum and Lasith Malinga.
