“Ravindra Jadeja is India’s Best Spinner Across Formats”

Former India spinner Dilip Doshi has revealed Ravindra Jadeja is the best all rounder in India team across the all versions of the game. Meanwhile, Ravindra Jadeja is currently the only spinner who is among the leader board in all the three formats.

Other spinners in the team are continuously struggling to find a place in the team in all the formats. Although, Kuldeep Yadav is a regular in limited-overs cricket hebis not considered in the Test format. While, Ravichandran Ashwin has not found a place in ODI and T20I teams since 2017. On the other hand, Yuzvendra Chahal is becoming regular into the Test team.

But Ravindra Jadeja has been a regular face in the squads for all the formats. Although, he does not get chances in the playing eleven consistently for a few months but stays with the team. Ravindra Jadeja played 3 of the five T20Is for the last time against New Zealand.

Former spinner Doshi said that he considers Ravindra Jadeja as the best of the lot and opined that he would never leave him out of the plying XI.

“I consider him best among the lot. I will play him all the time,” said the former spinner about Ravindra Jadeja on an online chat session with the Playwrite Foundation.

Doshi also praised Kuldeep Yadav, “Kuldeep is a great talent. The more he bowls, the better he will become.

In the meantime, cricketing Bible Wisden recently named Jadeja as India’s Most Valuable Player in Test cricket in the 21st century.

“After all, he’s not even always an automatic pick in their Test team. However, when he does play he is picked as a frontline bowler and has batted as high as No 6 —contributing to a very high match involvement,” reported Wisden quoting CricViz’s Freddie Wilde.
