RCB gives warning to Christian for breach of contract: Reports
Australian all-rounder Daniel Christian hasn’t had the best season so far at Royal Challengers Bangalore. Having played 3 games so far, the 37-year-old experienced all-rounder could score only 3 runs in 3 games at an average of just 1.00. He is yet to take a wicket this season.
Besides that, he suffered the wrath of the netizens for dropping an easy catch of Ravindra Jadeja. The CSK all-rounder made most of the chance by scoring 62 off 28 balls including 4 fours and 5 sixes and went on to equal Chris Gayle’s record of 37 runs in an over.
Meanwhile, the Australian all-rounder found himself in a spot of bother as he has been reportedly been given a warning for breach of contract by his club, Royal Challengers Bangalore. Previously this week, the Australian and New Zealand’s left-arm seamer Kyle Jamieson, appeared in ‘The Grade Cricketer’ channel.
In the channel, Christian came up with a few hilarious revelations from inside RCB’s bubble that went viral on the internet. In the recent interview, Christian had opened up that the left-arm seamer denied to bowl with dukes ball to RCB captain Virat Kohli after the latter requested the Kiwi pacer if he was really interested in bowling to him.
This was among many other hilarious stuff that came out in the interview, but although the reason is not clear, it is believed that Christian has been given a warning for breach of contract. Meanwhile, the video has been taken down by The Grade Cricketer YouTube channel.
“Earlier this afternoon, we were informed by Dan Christian that he has been issued a warning for ‘breach of contract’ following his appearance on The Grade Cricketer earlier this week,” The Grade Cricketer added on their YouTube channel.
“We don’t know if the same was applied to Kyle Jamieson. Dan was asked to request us to take the interview down by RCB. On account for our respect for Dan and his contract, we’ve taken it down.”
