RCB slams Twitter India for mistaking team jersey emoji

The upcoming edition of the Indian Premier League is just 4 days away from going all guns blazing. Meanwhile, IPL franchises, fans and cricket experts are coming up with different opinions about the next season.

RCB slams Twitter India for mistaking team jersey emoji

Ahead of the IPL, Twitter India released team emojis for all teams in a bid to trigger the excitement of the social media users. Nonetheless, they committed a big blunder by inserting CSK team jersey emoji for Royal Challengers Bangalore.

Meanwhile, the fans were quick to spot the hilarious mistake and started trolling the RCB franchise left, right and centre. Even the official Twitter handle of Chennai Super Kings took a dig at RCB with a tweet. “Ok. We understand #Yellove is everywhere but.. hey @Twitter!,” CSK wrote.

RCB’s official Twitter account came across the silly mistake from Twitter India. RCB decided to take a dig at Twitter India asking if they need better tech engineers to do the work.

“Hey @Twitter @TwitterIndia, looks like you need better tech engineers. Bengaluru is the right place to start hiring. #WhatsWithYourEmojis,” the tweet read.

RCB will play their first match on April 9 against Mumbai Indians at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. RCB have never won the title so far but they have a great chance to win their maiden title if they use their resources to better effect in the next season.

RCB made it to the final thrice but lost all of the encounters against Chennai Super Kings, Deccan Chargers and Sunrisers Hyderabad respectively. Under Virat Kohli, RCB made it to the final once in the IPL 2016 season where they surrendered at the hands of David Warner’s SRH.
